Where are the performances held?
All Sheboygan Theatre Company performances are held at the Leslie W. Johnson Theatre, Horace Mann Middle School, 2820 Union Avenue, Sheboygan.

Where can Tickets be purchased in advance?
Theatre Company Administrative Offices are located in the Community Recreation Department, 607 South Water Street, Sheboygan. There are no cash refunds for Theatre Company tickets.

May tickets be purchased at the theatre?
Yes. The theatre box office opens 45 minutes prior to curtain and tickets may be purchased at that time.

Is there another way to purchase tickets?
Single Sale, Flexible and Exchange Ticket reservations can be made by phone, 920-459-3779, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; or 45 minutes before show curtain at 920-459-3149. Phone orders must be paid for with a credit/debit card. Tickets will be held for pickup at the office or theatre box office.  Click here to see more details.

Why am I being charged sales tax?
The Sheboygan Theatre Company is required to pay Wisconsin sales tax on season and single tickets, which is added after your ticket order is totaled.

May tickets be exchanged?
Season tickets may be exchanged for any other performance of the same show at no charge, provided the tickets are in the theatre company's possession by curtain time of that performance. (In case of emergencies the exchange can be made by providing the exact seat location to the theatre company prior to curtain.) Season tickets for past performances can be exchanged for upcoming performances of the same show, but a $2.00 per ticket charge will be assessed.

Tickets purchased on a single-ticket basis can be exchanged, but patron will pay the difference for a more expensive ticket and receive no refund for a less expensive ticket.

May season tickets be exchanged at the last minute?
Yes, simply call the box office at 459-3149, 45 minutes before and up to show curtain, to give your name and seat numbers. Your tickets may then be sold and tickets reserved for you another day.

When do tickets go on sale?
All ticket sales, exchanges and reservations begin for an upcoming production on the Monday after the previous show closes with the exception of the first show of the season for which tickets are available beginning the Monday before opening.

What is the Theatre Company phone number?
During regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., please call 920-459-3779 for tickets and 920-459-3149 for general information. On show days only the theatre ticket box office opens 45 minutes prior to show start, 920-459-3149. This is also the number at which audience members can be reached in case of emergencies.

What time are the performances?
All evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Matinees begin at 2:00 p.m. The Theatre Box Office opens 45 minutes prior to curtain and the theatre auditorium opens 30 minutes prior to curtain.

Will there be someone there to help find our seats?
Ushers in black and white and identified by sash and/or badge are available to assist patrons to their seats. 

Will refreshments be available?
Before the performance and during intermission, refreshments are offered for sale in the theatre lobby. Refreshments are not allowed in the theatre.

May the performance be videotaped?
Cameras and recorders are not allowed in the theatre. 

Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed anywhere at Horace Mann Middle School as it is School District property.

Can I order tickets online? / Do you accept credit cards online?
An order form can be printed out and mailed to us with your check, or credit card information. We currently do not accept credit card orders online. Season Ticket Order Form.

What are the STC office hours?
The STC Administrative Offices are located in the Community Recreation Department, 607 South Water Street, Sheboygan. For tickets call 920/459-3775 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

How can I audition for a part?
Auditions for The Sheboygan Theatre Company usually do not require prepared pieces. Scripts for the upcoming production are usually available for loan from the STC offices and can be picked up during office hours Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm. Loaned scripts are available for a 48-hour period and may require a deposit. Auditions are announced when planned on this website, in area newspapers, and in our volunteer newsletter.

How can I help backstage?
The Sheboygan Theatre Company is always seeking volunteers for its productions and the opportunities are endless. We are always looking for designers and technicians to be involved in the technical aspects of lighting, set construction, painting, sound, costumes, makeup, props and stage management.
