The Sheboygan Theatre Company is currently seeking volunteers. There are a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for each of our productions. Most positions include training.
Set Construction Crew: build scenery, furniture, and props according to drawings.
Painter Crew: base coat and paint scenery from renderings.
Light Crew: hang, focus, and color lighting instruments; includes follow spot and light board operators.
Sound Crew: set up and operate sound equipment, assist with microphones.
Costume Crew: hand stitch, sew with machines, and cut out patterns.
Makeup Crew: apply makeup to performers and assist designers.
Props/Running Crew: gather and/or make props and set decoration, place props for show, move scenery/set pieces during a show.
Assistant Stage Management: assist stage managers in working with actors and the director.
Front of House: ushering, ticket taking, concessions, and box office.
Theatre Festival & Rummage Sale: cashiers, setup, event coordinators, and entertainers.
