Ralph Maffongelli, Director of Theatre for the Sheboygan Theatre Company, will retire effective in November. This public announcement follows his letter of resignation which was submitted to the STC Board of Directors, and accepted by the Board at its monthly meeting held on October 7, 2009.

Ralph has been the director of theatre for the Sheboygan Theatre Company since 1981, a span exceeding twenty-eight (28) years, the longest duration that any prior director has servied in that capacity, during the organization’s seventy-five (75) year history.

Although Ralph’s leadership and experience will surely be missed, the Board fully expects to present the remainder of this year’s scheduled shows without interruption. Each of the four (4) shows of STC’s season will be directed by a guest director. Ryan Madala Klug has been hired as guest director of “Meet Me in St. Louis” with production dates from December 4^th through 12^th.
