At the Tuesday night performance of Li’l Abner, The Sheboygan Theatre Company’s final production of the 2007-2008 season, Director of Theatre Ralph Maffongelli presented the Stefanie H. Weill Award to the Rehabilitation Center of Sheboygan in honor of their Annual Theatrical Production. Established as a memorial to Stefanie Weill and Otto Byk for their contributions to a variety of cultural organizations throughout the area, this award is presented annually to a person or corporation that has had a significant impact on the success of the Theatre Company.

Accepting the award for the Rehabilitation Center were Lynn Borth, who directs the production each year, and Kip Ertel, who functions as the technical director and handles all other aspects of the show.  In presenting the plaque Maffongelli expressed how truly impressed the Sheboygan Theatre Company Board of Directors was by the wonderful theatrical work of the Rehabilitation Center and the phenomenal opportunities afforded the clients to express themselves artistically and dramatically.
